Dakota Johnson is an American model and actress. Johnson was well known for her role Anastasia Steele in Fifty Shades of Grey. She was born on 4 October 1989 in Austin, Texas. Dakota Johnson parents Melanie Griffith and Don Johnson were actors.

Dakota first went to Aspen Community School in Aspen, Colorado later she shifted to Santa Catalina School in Monterey, California. Dakota was graduated from New Road School in Santa Monica, California. She was a dancer in her school days. Johnson started her modelling career at the age of 12. Initially, she agrees to that relationship but later she departs from Grey.
