Seth Curry Biography, Family

Seth Curry is an American basketball player who plays for the NBA team Portland Blazers. His full name is Seth Adam Curry. He is the son of former NBA player Dell Curry and brother of famous basketball player Stephen Curry.

Seth Curry was born on 23 August 1990 in Charlotte, North Carolina. Coming from the athletic family, Seth also made his decision to go with a sports career.

Career

Seth grew up in Charlotte while Dell Curry played for Charlotte Hornets. In his childhood, His father Dell took Seth and his brother to basketball games. Seth and Stephen Curry both were attracted to basketball at such a young age and they started to learn many things by watching her father matches.

Seth Curry attended Charlotte Christian School, where he actually started playing basketball for his school team. Initially, he was average but in his senior career he performed extraordinarily and he led his school team went on to the final in state level.

Seth Curry attended Liberty University in Virginia and he started wearing the 30 number jersey which was used by his father and older brother. As a freshman at Virginia Curry broke a single-season record of Big South Conference.

Seth Curry was transferred Liberty to Duke University in Durham. As of college transfer regulations, Seth Curry was not played basketball for one season. While playing for Duke Seth scored 22 points against North Carolina and scored 31 (His highest score in college) points against Santa Clara.

Seth Curry remains undrafted in 2013 NBA draft. In the same year, he signed the non-guarantee contract with Golden State Warriors. After playing six pre-season games, he was waived by Golden State.

Later Curry was picked up by Santa Cruz Warriors as an affiliate player. Here he played NBA minor league. Curry left Santa Cruz and signed few short-term contracts with many teams and returned to Santa Cruz again in 2014.

2015 was the best year for Curry, He signed $2million contract with Sacramento Kings. They selected him because of his shrewd talent in three-point shooting. While this time he played each game consistently well, He scored 21 points against Portland Trail Blazers and Miami Heat and six three-pointers and 20 points against Oklahoma City Thunder.

In 2016 Curry played for Dallas Mavericks, In this season Curry was in super form. He has broken his own records in each match he played in this season. Curry scored 23 points against Los Angeles Lakers, San Antonio Spurs and he scored career highest 31 points against Minnesota Timberwolves. While playing this season Seth Curry was missed many games due to injuries and diagnosed for left tibia surgery.

In 2018 Seth Curry made two years contract with Portland Trail Blazers.
