John F Kennedy was the 35th president of the United States and he was the second youngest president in the twentieth century of American history.
John Fitzgerald Kennedy or JFK was born on May 29, 1917, in Brookline, Massachusetts. He was born in the wealthiest family, John F Kennedy father Joseph Patrick Kennedy was a businessman and politician and his mother Rose Kennedy was a socialite and philanthropist.
Career
Kennedy started his schooling at Edward Devotion School in Brookline. JFK was suffered from persistent health problems in his childhood and teenage years. John F Kennedy was graduated from Harvard in 1940.
After completion of his graduation, Kennedy joined in US Navy. He served Navy for four years handling several positions. Jack received two medals from the Navy. In 1945 he retired from Navy due to physical disability problems.
In 1946 Jack entered into the politics by winning his party nomination, at the time he was just 29. In 1952 Jack won United States Senate elections by defeating Henry Cabot Lodge Jr. In 1958 he Kennedy was re-elected as Senate. From this time Kennedy started preparations for the running race of the president.
In 1960 Nov 8, Democrat candidate John F Kennedy defeated the Republican party candidate Richard Nixon. Jack became the first youngest and Roman Catholic person as the president of the United States.
Kennedy was assassinated in Dallas on November 22, 1963. JFK was shot in the head by Lee Harvey Oswald.
