Blythe Auffarth is an American actress, writer and voice over artist. Blythe Auffarth is famous for her role as Meg Loughlin in horror drama film The Girl Next Door.

Blythe Auffarth was born on 23 April 1985 in Pleasant Valley, New York. Blythe Auffarth mother is a theatre actress and her father is a restaurant owner.

In childhood, Blythe accompanied her mother to the theatre and music performance. By watching her mother, Blythe gradually developed her interest towards acting.

At the age of 11, she has entered into the theatre. Her first show was ANNIE, and she surprised everyone with her performance.

After first show ANNIE, Blythe booked for the role of Young Jane Eyre in the world premiere of JANE EYRE at Papermill Playhouse, Where she performed alongside the likes of Anne Hathaway, Laura Benanti and Tom Hewitt. With the Jane Eyre, Blythe got recognition among the top directors in the theatre.

For few years she left theatre field and she attended North Carolina School of the Arts, where she took classes comprising of mask work, verbal and physical improvisation, dialect and accent work, dance, singing, scene study and stage combat.

After completion of her study she came back to New York and started working as a professional movie actor. Her first TV series was “Third Watch”, after she appeared in the famous television series Sex and the city.

Alongside television, Blythe started appearing in movies also. Blythe Auffarth played the lead role in the abusive drama film “The Girl Next Door”. The film story revolves around torture and abuses committed on a teenage girl in the care of her aunt and the boys.
