Estella Warren is an actress, model, and former synchronized swimmer from Canada. She was born in December 23, 1978, in Peterborough, Ontario. She is best known for her roles in the films “Planet of the Apes” and “Driven”.

From the very young age Warren began her swimming lessons. At the age of 12 she moved to Torrento to train for the canadian national synchronized swimming team. After five years she became senior in the national team. She was a three-time Canada national team champion and won the solo bronze medal at the 1995 Junior World Championships.

A talent scout fond her when she was participated in a charity high school fashion show. He was impressed by Estella Warren’s appearance and potential and he took a Polaroid photo of her and sent it to a modeling agency in New York City.  Warren went to New York and started modelling. She signed with several major agencies and appeared on the covers of Vogue, Sports Illustrated, & Vanity Fair. She also worked with brands such as Victoria’s Secret and Chanel. After appearing in TV commercials, She decided to learn acting and she moved to Los Angeles.

Warren’s breakout role came in 2001 when she was cast in the film “Planet of the Apes,” alongside co-stars Mark Wahlberg and Helena Bonham Carter. She went on to appear in several other films, including “Driven,” “Kangaroo Jack,” and “The Cooler.”

In 2011, Estella Warren was arrested for driving under the influence (DUI), hit and run, and resisting arrest. She crashed her Toyota Prius into three parked cars in Los Angeles and attempted to leave the scene of the accident. Warren was charged with four misdemeanor charges, including DUI, hit and run, resisting arrest, and battery on a police officer. She initially pleaded not guilty, but later changed her plea to no contest. She was sentenced to probation, community service, and an alcohol program.

In 2017, once again Warren was arrested for domestic violence after allegedly throwing cleaning fluid at her boyfriend
