Greg Wise is a British actor and producer who was born on May 15, 1966, in Newcastle, England. His original name is Matthew Gregory Wise . He is best known for his roles in films such as “Sense and Sensibility” and “Johnny English.”

Wise attended St Peter’s School in Yorkshire, He is graduated in architecture from Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh. He studied drama at The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.

Wise began his acting career as a stage actor in the mid-1990s. Eventually he started appearing in various television shows and films. He gained wider recognition for his role in the 1995 film “Sense and Sensibility,” in which he played the romantic lead opposite Emma Thompson, whom he later married.
