Hannah Arterton is an british actress and singer. Her full name is Hanna Jane Arterton. She is best known for her appearances in films and theatre. She is the younger sister of bond girl Gemma Arterton.

Hannah Arterton was born on 26 January 1989 in Gravesend, Kent, England. Hannah went to Gravesend Grammar School. She studied music technology at North Kent College’s Miskin Theatre. In 2011, Hannah Arterton graduated from Royal Academy of Dramatic Art(RADA). While studying in college she worked for several music bands as a singer.

Career

During her final year at RADA, Hannah got a chance to appear in Stephen Poliakoff Play My City. Her performance in the theatre earned her a role in BBC Television series “Atlantis”.

In 2014, Hannah made her debut in a triangle love story film “Walking On Sunshine”. Her second film was “Hide and Seek”, The film story go through polyamorous relationship. Hannah performance received positive reviews and the film won Edinburgh International Film Festival’s award.

In 2016, Arterton appeared as detective in crime thriller television series “The Five”. In 2018, Arterton appeared in two horror films “The Convent” and “Peripheral”.

Hannah Arterton written and directed a short film “Hayley Alien”, In this film her sister Gemma Arterton made lead role.
