Laura Prepon is a famous American actress, model and author. She is best known for her role as Donna Pinciotti in the famous television sitcom “That ‘70s Show”.

Laura Helen Prepon was born on 7 March 1980 in Watchung, New Jersey, USA. She is the youngest children in her family. She has four siblings. She went to Watchung Hills Regional High School. In 1996 she went to Total Theatre Lab in New York to learn acting. Prepon appeared in many stage plays while she was in New Yok.

Before landing into acting Laura Prepon worked as a model and she did photoshoots Europe and in Brazil. After giving so many auditions in various film studios, Prepon got selected for the Emmy award winning series “That 70s Show”. She played the role of Donna Pinciotti, she was nominated for Teen choice award for her performance.

In 2001, Prepon made her debut film with “Southlander” and next year she appeared in Slackers. Prepon starred in sitcoms “October Road”, In Plain sight, “How I Met Your Mother” and “Men At Work”.
Preopon starred in many comedy films and she had also appeared in psychological thriller films “Karl”, “The Girl on the Train”.

Prepon starred in Netflix famous comedy prison drama series “Orange is the New Black”, where she played the role of Alex Vause, who was sentenced to jail for importing drugs. In the series she appeared alongside Taylor Schilling. Prepon won Satellite Award and Screen Actor Guild Award for her exceptional performance. She had also directed few episodes of Orange is the New Black.

Prepon was featured in Maxim and Stuff magazines to their list as one of the 100 most beautiful women in the world.

Apart from acting she also worked as co-producer for some films and She had started writing books. Prepon wrote a book “The Stash Plan” along with nutritionist Elizabeth Troy. The book focus on diet plans, eating habits and the book became the New York Times Best Seller.
