Mandy Moore is a pop singer, songwriter and actress, she is best known for her role in the film A Walk to Remember. Moore full name is Amanda Leigh Moore, She was born on 10 April 1984 in Nashua, New Hampshire. Her family moved to Longwood in Florida when she was just two months old. She went to Bishop Moore Catholic High School in Orlando.
Career
From the very young age, Moore started singing and this interest grew gradually. She was encouraged by her grandmother to give a performance on stages. Mandy says her grandmother is her inspiration, because of her encouragement she overcomes the stage-fear. Moore performed National Anthem at various local events in Orlando. Moore became popular by singing National Anthem at every event and she was named National Anthem girl by the audience.
At the age of 13, Moore got the first chance to work with Epic Records. Victor Cade, a FedEx delivery person heard Moore singing and he referred her to his friend who is working Epic Records and finally, Moore signed with the label.
While working on her debut album Moore released her debut single Candy in August 1998, It was a commercial success and sold over more than 500,000 copies. Also, it was received Gold Certification from Recording Industry Association Of America (RIAA) and Platinum Certification by Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA).
At the age of 15, Mandy released her debut album So Real in 1999. It was released only in few countries, As a teenage artist, it was a moderate success for Moore. The following year Mandy Moore released her second studio album I Wanna Be With You. It was the remake version of Moore’s first album So Real, with some old tracks in new remix versions. It was the international version of So Real. This album sold over 800,000 copies and the song I Wanna Be With You went on to 24th position on US Billboard.
In 2001 Moore released her third album with self-titled name Mandy Moore, It became average in the United States and sold over 4,50,000 copies in the U.S. But this album was well received in the Philippines where it was sold more than 200,000 copies.
From 2001 Moore began testing her luck into the film industry. She got a chance in animated comedy film Dr Dolittle 2, where Moore gave her voice to a Girl Bear Cup character. In the Same year, Mandy has appeared in The Princess Dairies film in which she played Lana Thomas role.
In 2003 Mandy released her fourth album Coverage and Mandy left the Epic Records due to differences on controlling her freedom on music.
Moore appeared in the lead role along with Shane West in the romantic film A Walk To Remember. It was based on Nicholas Spark’s novel A Walk To Remember, they released the movie with the same name. The film was received negative reviews but Mandy Moore performance was praised and she won some awards.
From 2003 to 2006 Moore took a break from music and she put her attention towards movies. Meanwhile, she did films How to Deal, Chasing Liberty, Saved and American Dreamz
In 2006 Mandy signed with The Firm company to start music after a long gap. Moore released her fifth album Wild Hope in 2007, It was moderate hit and sold over 600,000 copies worldwide. She released her sixth studio album Amanda Leigh in 2009. In this album, all songs’ lyrics are written by Moore and Mike Viola.
Moore voiced for Rapunzel a lead role in Disney’s animation movie Tangled. Mandy’s voice was one of the assets to this film and it became the huge hit and broke several records in box office collections. She also gave her voice to many characters in films and television series.
From 2016 Moore has been starring in television series This Is Us, She is playing the role of Jack’s wife Rebecca Pearson. This show was quite popular and Mandy Moore nominated for Golden Globe Award for her role.
Moore started her own fashion brand called Mblem in 2005, mainly produces woollen products such as knitwear and Cashmere clothes (Kashmir). She shut down it after four years.

The couple stated that they are getting differences in their views and they applied divorce by mutual consent. Finally, the couple got divorced in 2016.
After departed from her husband Mandy began dating Taylor Goldsmith, a singer and songwriter. The couple got engaged officially on 23 September 2017, by throwing an engagement party.
