Rinku Rajguru is an Indian actress, mainly appears in Marathi cinema. She is famous for her character Archie (Archana Patil) in the film Sairat. Because of her tremendous performance in Sairat, Rinku became a superstar with her debut film.
Rinku was born on 3rd June 2001 in Akluj a small town in Solapur district of Maharashtra. Rinku Rajguru attended Jijamatha Kanya Prashala school in her hometown Akluj. Currently, she is passed 10th class and pursuing her education.
Career
Film director Nagraj Manjule and Rinku’s maternal grandmother belongs to the same village. Rinku Rajguru mother knew him from her childhood, She approached him once while he is doing a film shoot in their village and introduced Rinku to him.
At the age of 12, Rinku went to the auditions of Sairat. That time she was pursuing 7th class. She was selected for Archie role, the film shooting begins after one year of her audition. The film Sairat was released in 2016, that time Rinku was just 14 years old.
Rinku played the lead role of Archie along with Akash Thosar in Sairat. The film story is about two teenagers, the girl who belongs to a rich and political affluent family falls in love with a boy from a poor family. The story revolves around true love, friendship, caste discrimination and honour killing. Because of strong content, story narration and actors top-notch performance Sairat became a huge hit.
Due to positive reviews and mouth publicity, Sairat was watched by many non-marathi speaking people across India and Overseas. It was created a record as the highest grossing movie in Marathi film industry collecting more than 100crores. Rinku Rajguru became an overnight star and her performance was critically acclaimed. Rinku won National Film Award in Special Jury for Sairat.
In 2017 Rinku appeared in Kannada film Manasu Mallige which is a remake version of Sairat in the Kannada language. In 2018 Rinku signed her second Marathi film Kagar.
