Sarah Taylor is an England Cricket player. She is a wicketkeeper and batswoman. Sarah plays for Sussex Women in county cricket.

Sarah Taylor is one of the most beautiful and talented batswomen. She is considered as the best wicketkeeper in the present generation of women cricketers. She is very active behind the stumps and cannot give a chance to the opponents.

Her full name is Sarah Jane Taylor. She was born on 20 May 1989 in Whitechapel in England. Sarah was graduated from Brighton College. From childhood, she has a very keen interest to play cricket. Sarah and her fellow cricketer Holly Colvin are the members of the boys’ cricket team in Brighton College.

In 2006, Sarah played her debut international match against India. In 2008 she became the youngest women cricketer to score 1000 runs in ODI cricket.

In 2008 Sarah and her teammate Caroline Atkins broke a record by making 268 runs partnership for the first wicket against South Africa. In this match, Sarah made 129 runs.

In 2009 Sarah made a record by scoring 120 at run-a-ball, which was the highest individual score by English women cricketers. (Previous record is 118 runs by Enid Bakewell).

Sarah won the T20 women’s cricketer of the year award in 2012 and 2013 and also She was named as the ICC Women’s ODI Cricketer of the year in 2014.

Sarah was the part of England World Cup Cricket team which won in 2017. Her performance was exceptional throughout the tournament. She scored her career-best 147 runs in 104 balls against South Africa.

Sarah Taylor is suffering from anxiety, Due to this reason, she took one year break from cricket in 2016. After one year she came back to the team and performed well in all tournaments and she was selected for 2019 Women’s Ashes. But again she suffered anxiety and mental problems and she withdrew herself from the tournament.
